Mapping of eco-pedagogical activities – PR1
The first OpenPass4Climate outcome aims to analyse different types of eco-pedagogical activities by conducting and sharing an extensive survey based on NOVA University's methodology.
This methodology serves as the foundation for the NOVA Sustainability Map 2020, thoroughly discussed with the OpenPass4Climate consortium. It draws inspiration from the STARS model, the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System.
STARS is a voluntary, self-reporting framework designed to help colleges and universities track and measure their progress in sustainability. This system proposes alternative methodologies for categorising the alignment of university courses with sustainability best practices, which could prove useful for assessing eco-pedagogies.
It's important to note that the mapping proposed by the consortium does not aim to be an exhaustive list of all eco-pedagogical activities existing in Europe. Instead, it will function as a catalogue showcasing various types of activities, with examples and hyperlinks to existing initiatives.
