The OpenPass4Climate consortium met in Brussels on 25–26 September 2025 for its final transnational meeting (TPM6), hosted by UNICA – Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe. The meeting gathered all partners to review the project’s final outputs, consolidate the quality assurance process, and prepare the administrative and financial closure.
Finalisation of Project Results
Partners validated the final versions of PR4, PR5, PR6, PR7 and PR8, confirming that the project’s objectives were fully met. The discussions focused on the Open Badges Passport, the guidelines for schools, businesses, and higher education, and the impact evaluation framework. The consortium also reviewed the two scientific articles submitted to Open Research Europe.
Dissemination and Sustainability
The meeting defined the final dissemination actions, including the publication of all project results on the OP4C website and coordinated communication across partner institutions. Sustainability strategies were also refined, covering long-term use of the badges, integration of resources in academic programmes, and a follow-up consortium meeting planned for May 2026. Partners shared the intention to explore opportunities for a future “OpenPass4Climate 2.0”.
Quality Review and Administrative Closure
The consortium conducted the final quality assessment of all work packages. WP2 reached 93.3% (up to 106.7% including hybrid participation), WP3 achieved 93.3%, WP4 reached 83.9% onsite (87.9% hybrid), and WP5 achieved 90% for transnational meetings. Budget adjustments were validated, particularly reflecting the additional technical work completed by CSCI for PR3 and PR4.
TPM6 marked the completion of the OpenPass4Climate project’s operational phase. The meeting confirmed the quality, coherence and completeness of all deliverables, and reinforced the consortium’s commitment to continue collaborating beyond the project’s lifetime.
