This civic education initiative is dedicated to raising awareness among students about gender-based violence, promoting gender equality, and fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and social responsibility. Held annually around January 22nd, the program creates a meaningful space within the curriculum for reflection, dialogue, and critical engagement with one of the most pressing social issues of our time.

In this year’s edition, students from various classes took part in focused Civic Education lessons centered on the theme of violence against women. These sessions encouraged thoughtful discussion and deepened understanding of the systemic nature of gender inequality.

To enrich the experience, some classes extended their learning beyond the classroom with an educational outing to the cinema, where they attended a special screening of C’è ancora domani (There’s Still Tomorrow). This powerful and emotionally resonant film served as a catalyst for post-screening discussions on women’s rights, empowerment, and the importance of historical memory in shaping present-day perspectives and values.
