This course focuses on the application of silvicultural methods in the context of environmental change, with an emphasis on mitigating and adapting to the effects of climate change in forest management systems. Throughout the course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how climate change impacts forest ecosystems and will explore strategies to mitigate these effects. Additionally, students will develop a deep understanding of the pivotal role of forestry in both climate change mitigation and adaptation.
