On 2–3 September 2024, UniLaSalle Beauvais hosted the fifth training session of the Erasmus+ project On 23 October 2025, the Consorzio Scuola Comunità Impresa (CSCI) hosted the first OpenPass4Climate Multiplier Event (E1) at the historic Broletto of Novara. The event brought together 36 external participants, including teachers, students, school leaders, local institutions and civil-society organisations, to introduce the European Open Badges Passport for Climate and share the project’s latest outputs.
The event, widely announced across local and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and covered by local press (Corriere di Novara, FreeNovara, Buongiorno Novara), offered participants a clear overview of OP4C’s objectives, methodology and first results. CSCI presented the mapping of eco-pedagogical activities (PR1), insights from the student engagement assessment (PR2) and the development of the Open Badges for Climate collection (PR3). Participants discovered how Open Badges can recognise climate-related skills and support greener learning pathways in schools and training institutions.
Interactive discussions explored how the OP4C tools could be integrated into curricular and extracurricular activities, how badges could support student motivation, and how local organisations could engage with the Passeport Climat. The event also acted as a platform to build new partnerships with schools and associations across Novara and Piemonte.
This multiplier event exceeded expectations in outreach and visibility, marking a strong step forward in the dissemination of OpenPass4Climate at local and regional levels.
