The OpenPass4Climate consortium gathered at UniLaSalle Beauvais on 7–8 March 2023 for the project’s first training session (C1), marking a key step in developing the shared methodology for identifying and mapping eco-pedagogical activities across Europe.
During this two-day working meeting, partners from France, Portugal, Italy, Belgium and Spain worked intensively on:
Understanding and refining NOVA’s eco-pedagogy methodology, including principles of planetary citizenship and lifelong ecological engagement.
Testing the methodology through real examples, using Miro boards to analyse and compare eco-pedagogical activities proposed by each institution.
Designing the structure of the future online catalogue, which will become the reference point for mapping eco-pedagogical initiatives and creating learning paths.
Preparing data-collection tools, including a first version of the Google Form to gather activities from institutions and later external organisations.
On the second day, the consortium defined a clear action plan, including deadlines for data collection (March–July 2023), dissemination of the form to external partners (August 2023–January 2024), and the phased analysis of activities leading to the final mapping (January–June 2024).
This first training session successfully aligned partners around a shared methodology and set the foundation for one of the core project results: a European interactive catalogue of eco-pedagogical practices. The next training and transnational meeting will take place at the University of Valladolid in June 2023.
