Mapping of eco-pedagogical activities – PR1
OpenPass4Climate is an impact evaluation of eco-pedagogy designed to foster individual and collective engagement through the implementation of a European Open Badges Passport for Climate and the Planet.
This Cooperation Partnerships project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union (2022-2025), has achieved its first outcome by analyzing different types of eco-pedagogical activities. This has been achieved by mapping eco-pedagogical activities among the five consortium Education Institutions located in Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
The mapping focuses on eco-pedagogical activities that empower learners to take a more active role in climate action. Once learners have completed these activities, they will receive badges on their OpenPass4Climate passports from their education institutions.
These activities:
Address climate-related topics through action, learning, or hybrid activities, providing learners with the opportunity to explore these topics in various environments and learn theoretical concepts through practical experience;
They are aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring that learners are aligned with the global agenda on climate challenges and helping them to progress alongside the world;
They help students achieve essential competencies on climate change topics by utilizing the 12 Green Competences, which aim to promote environmental sustainability learning within the European Union.
Browse the catalogue below to find more than 100 eco-pedagogical activities; earn your badge and become a more active and conscious citizen.
